Getting in and out is simpler than it used to be thanks to SR 429 and Florida's Turnpike, but SR 50 slows down at rush hour. Plan a mid-morning start for moves heading toward Orlando or Clermont so the crew is not stuck in commuter traffic.
In the historic downtown near Plant Street and the West Orange Trail, street parking can fill up on weekends when visitors are around. A weekday move is usually easier. In summer, afternoon storms are common here too, so earlier starts keep furniture dry.
