What we collect and why
- Quote requests. Name, phone, email, move date, pickup and drop-off area, move size, service type and anything you write in the details box. We use it to price your move and get back to you. We cannot quote without it.
- Business and partner enquiries. The same contact details plus company name, business type, job date, partner type and service area, used to reply to your enquiry.
- Online bookings. When you book online we collect your name, phone, email, addresses, move date and time, crew size and notes so we can schedule and confirm your move.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to see which pages get visited and which lead to a quote request or booking. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, analytics does not load.
- Server logs. Our host records the usual technical data for every request (IP address, browser, page, time) to keep the site running and secure.
Who sees it
- Heavy Lifters staff who handle your quote.
- Resend, the email service that delivers your quote request to us and sends you a confirmation and, where enabled, a follow-up email.
- ntfy, a push-notification service that alerts our team the moment a request arrives, so we can call you back quickly.
- Square, which processes booking deposits and any refunds. We never see or store your full card number.
- Vercel and Neon, which host this website and store booking records on our behalf.
- Google: Google Analytics, and Google Fonts, which serves the typeface on every page and therefore sees your IP address when the font loads.
We do not sell your details and we do not share them with advertisers.
Cookies
The site itself sets no tracking cookies. Google Analytics sets its own cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to count visits. You can block or delete these in your browser settings, and if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, analytics does not load at all. The booking page remembers your unfinished form in your browser only until you close the tab.
How long we keep it
Quote requests stay in our email and records for as long as we need them to handle your move and our bookkeeping. Email us and we will delete what we hold about you unless we are required to keep it.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email imuv247@gmail.com.
Children
This site is for adults arranging a move. We do not knowingly collect details from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this page changes we update the date at the top.
